Stykkerne Står / The Pieces Stand

The Pieces Stand is a duo exhibition by Rosalinde Mynster and Iselin Toubro at Møstings in Copenhagen (Frederiksberg). It's a 4-channel film and sculpture installation. The four films is a story about three sisters who inherited a the family summer residence. They met to settle the inheritance. The liberated and career-oriented women quickly become absorbed by the various items they unpacked to look at. Objects that are all linked to a more simple and present lifestyle. Gradually, things changes, and the sense of time disappears in an aesthetic alternation between past and present, which appears both sensuous and anxiety-provoking.
